Getting back to pre-pregnancy body #1:

Now that I am a mother, I would like to focus on pre & post natal stages for today.  I think it is safe to say that winning back your pre-pregnancy body is one of the top lists of the mothers.  The key to it is to prepare WHILE you are pregnant!  Yes, you need extra 300kcal-ish per day while you are pregnant, but it is not much, it is about  3 cups of 1% cow milk!  For that extra allowance, increasing good proteins such as tofu and beans as well as whole grains are always great ideas.  AND, walk whenever you get a chance!  Walking is one of the best and easiest ways for pregnant women to stay healthy.  I walked for at least 1 hour in total per day up until I went into a labor room and was able to maintain a healthy pregnancy weight on top of the healthy delivery.  It also helped me to come back to pre pregnancy weight after a few weeks of delivery.  I started walking from the 2nd day I gave a birth (for the first few days were very gentle walk) and have ketp walking up until now.  I am all over in Victoria and Sidney with this bright red stroller…if you see me and my son, Ryo, please say “hello” and join us for a walk, perhaps!
